Ford in the Driving Seat at Zenit

Zenit St Petersburg are pleased to announce that they have appointed Nick Ford as their new Manager.

Ford has been given the task of leading the strong Russian team into Division One of The New World Order within the next three seasons. With the squad it his disposal and a healthy transfer budget ford has indicated that he feels that this task is achievable.

Ford stated, “While Division Three is a tough league, I feel that Zenit has the capability to progress up through the divisions. I have already secured the signings of several quality players that will help with this, while staying within the strict player rating rules that exist with NWO. The experienced Spanish stopper Adan has already signed as our new Number 1, and promising forwards Britt Assombalonga and Kuki Zalazar have also joined us.”

Ford also suggested that there would be further signings very soon, and then shortly after this interview Bojan Krkic, Jetro Willems and Martin Caceres were all seen arriving at the Krestovsky Stadium with their agents, With these quality players coming in to what was already a strong squad, it will take a brave pundit to bet against Zenit to be crowned Division Three Champions this season.
