First Half:

AS Roma started the first half by passing the ball around. Coman got the ball and passed it to Robben who then hit it towards the bottom corner but Alisson tipped it to safety. Only three minutes had passed and Bayern got a penalty after Fazio committed a foul. Lewandowski scored with the penalty as he shot the ball to the top corner and it went in off the bar. Five minutes later, Moreno tried to score but his shot went over the bar and out for a goal kick. Moreno was then involved in another goal scoring chance but failed to put the ball inside the net. Half an hour had gone and Lewandowski was booked for a foul. Nainggolan used the free kick to cross the ball into the box since Kolarov was unmarked but Neuer saved Kolarov's header from entering in. Five minutes later, Muller received the ball from Hummels and tried to dink it over Alisson but the goalkeeper punched the ball away. The referee blew his whistle and the first half was done with Bayern winning 1 - 0.

Second Half:

The referee blew his whistle and Bayern attacked the opposition's half. Two minutes later, Hummels got a yellow card after bringing Florenzi down. Hummels then got the ball and passed it to Lewandowski who then took a shot but Alisson saved it. In the 49th minute, Nainggolan received the ball from Pellegrini and got an attempt in on goal. The ball sailed over Neuer and into the goal and Nainggolan celebrated the goal he had scored. Three minutes later, El Shaarawy tried to score but the ball dipped too late and went over the bar. Manolas then got a yellow card and will have to miss the next match for having 5 yellow cards this season. With an hour gone, Bayern had two big chances to score but Alisson did well to deny Lewandowski from scoring and Alcantara's shot went wide. The rest of the game was dominated by Bayern's attack but they couldn't find the net as Alisson did a superb job in denying them a goal. The referee blew his whistle with AS Roma drawing with Bayern 1 - 1.

Post Match Conference:

Fert was present to speak about the match. Here's what he had to say: "I'll take a draw here although I think that I could have won if we didn't concede that early penalty. I'm very happy with the way the defenders and Alisson played today to keep Bayern's attack quiet. I look forward to the game against Manchester United and hopefully we win that one. With Manolas suspended, it will be interesting to see who takes his place in the starting line up". Nainggolan was also present to comment. He said "I'm very happy to have scored that equalizer. Our team was solid defensively but unfortunately the early penalty made us lose the clean sheet. The lads are looking forward to playing Manchester United on Thursday".
